      • Celerons and 5400 rpm drives seem to be cool enough without needing extra cooling fans...

      • When using P3-class CPUs
        • when possible, it is highly recommended you have 2 additional CPU cooling fans
        • it is highly recommended you have an additional power supply cooling fans

      • When using 7200 rpm or 10000 rpm disk drives
        • it is highly recommended you have additional disk drive cooling fans

        One end of the LCD cable is the LCD display, other end is connected to Com2(ttyS1)

  • Front Panel Options
    • CDROM
      • Optional CDROM drives are installed with 4-40x1/4" undercut screws
      • Optional CDROM fits into C19xx, C23xx, C25xx 1U Chassis
      • Requires FrontPanel open/cut-away CDROM away

    • Floppy
      • Optional floppy drives are installed with M3x6mm standoff and M3x6mm undercut screws
      • Optional floppy can be installed by knocking out the "cutout"
      • BEFORE mounting the front panel to the 1U chassis.....
      • Place something sturdy ( like a 1" diameter screw driver handle ) underneath the front panel away from the floppy knockout
      • Get another large screwdriver and use a hammer to quickly and firmly hit the floppy knockout
      • Hit the left and right side of the floppy knock out...
      • You might have to unbend the knockout area if you did NOT support the front panel properly.
      • After it is loose, simply twist/wiggle the floppy knockout off the front panel

    • LCD Display
      • Optional LCD display are mounted with 4-40x1/4" nylon screws
      • Optional LCD display fits into xxxx front panels
  • Disk Drives
    • Disk Partition Considerations

    • All disk drives ( IDE and scsi ) are mounted with 6-32x1/4" M-F standoff
    • The drives are held to the chassis with 6-32x1/4" undercut screw
    • Additional cooling fans can be placed where space is available
